I'm New Here

Welcome to Fairfield Baptist Church

Fairfield Baptist Church is a place where people can meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. Join us in-person or virtual for our Sunday worship experience!

Who We Are

Our Church was founded in 1885, by the Carol, Daniel, Durden and Mapp families. Reverend A.D. Freeman was given the awesome task to become the first pastor. The FIELD in which the initial church was erected was so FAIR they decided to name the church FAIRFIELD.
Fairfield stands as a beaconing light in the community. Its lights illuminating the love of Christ, as the church sitting on the hill, that cannot be hidden.

Family Life

Fairfield Student Life - NXTGEN is available for KiDS, TEENZ, & Campus Life. We offer a space for children from potty trained to college seniors, to encourage our young people that they matter and we are concerned about their spiritual growth and well-being.

Kingdom Men

Our Kingdom Men's Ministry is designed to develop, inspire, cultivate, and encourage men of all ages. The ministry utilizes their spiritual gifts to support Christian brethren in specific areas of need to edify their family, church and community.

W.In.G.S. Ministry

Our Women In God’s Service (WINGS) ministry is open to all women.  WINGS uses a holistic model that recognizes that women are spiritual, emotional, intellectual and physical beings. It is designed to help meet many of our needs.

What To Expect

A typical service will last about 90 -120 minutes. We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship & arts ministry. Our Pastor preaches a theological based message, inspired by the Holy Spirit. Our worship service starts with a musical prelude in which in-person worshippers are invited to kneel at the altar for personal prayer.
