THE HAGGAI LEGACY PROJECT

Rebuilding with Reverence.
Restoring with Vision.
Reaching toward Promise.
After the elimination of our mortgage in 2025, the question was raised, "What will we do post mortgage elimination?" When the weight of debt is lifted, the call of duty becomes clearer: not merely to maintain what exists, but to prayerfully restore, responsibly develop, and faithfully prepare the house for generations yet unborn. The Haggai Legacy Project emerges in this sacred moment — a commitment to align our campus, our capacity, and our calling with the will of God.

Scripture reminds us that when the people returned from exile, they did not simply rebuild walls — they rebuilt identity. Through the prophetic voice of Haggai, the strategic leadership of Nehemiah, and the priestly order restored through Ezra, the people of God were summoned to reorder priorities, renew covenant commitment, and reestablish the visible presence of God among them. The charge was clear:

“Consider your ways.” (Haggai 1:5)
“Rise up and build.” (Nehemiah 2:18)
“Let the house of God be rebuilt.” (Ezra 5:2)

The Haggai Legacy Project is Fairfield’s spiritual and strategic response to that same call.
Having pressed forward under themes that remind us to keep striving and ascend to deeper dimensions of faith, Fairfield now stands positioned to steward the blessing of progress with intentionality and order. The same Spirit that sustained perseverance now calls for thoughtful development — measured growth that honors both tradition and transformation.

Our Biblical Foundation

Haggai - Reordering Priorities
Haggai challenges the people to evaluate how their personal pursuits had outpaced their commitment to God’s house. The Haggai Legacy Project calls Fairfield to ensure that our physical campus reflects the excellence, care, and intentionality worthy of a place dedicated to worship, discipleship, and community transformation.
Ezra – Restoring Spiritual Infrastructure
Ezra reminds us that rebuilding is not only structural but spiritual. As Fairfield continues to serve holistically across generations and ministry expressions, our facilities must support teaching, counseling, creative arts, outreach, and discipleship that equips believers for faithful living.
Nehemiah – Strategic and Sustainable Development
Nehemiah demonstrates that vision requires planning, accountability, and unity. The Haggai Legacy Project seeks to implement long-term financial planning, responsible resource management, and phased campus enhancements that allow ministry to flourish without compromising future stability.

The Vision Moving Forward

The Haggai Legacy Project seeks to:
  • Restore and enhance the Fairfield Campus, ensuring our physical environment reflects the spirit of excellence and hospitality that defines our ministry.
  • Establish long-term financial strategies that promote sustainability, wise stewardship, and debt-free progression.
  • Develop measured expansion initiatives that serve both congregational growth and community impact.
  • Strengthen ministry infrastructure that supports worship, discipleship, counseling, outreach, media, and intergenerational engagement.
  • Position Fairfield for future community initiatives that meet spiritual and practical needs beyond the sanctuary walls.
As Fairfield continues to integrate innovative tools and thoughtful systems that increase ministry effectiveness, this next season represents an opportunity to align spiritual vision with operational excellence.
