Carrie Nell Stinson, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 9th, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on Thursday, July 14th, 1949, in Woodberry, Georgia, Carrie was a cherished resident of Decatur, GA, where she lived a life filled with love and service to her community.

Carrie dedicated many years to working in Customer Service at Sears & Roebuck, where her warm smile and caring nature left a mark on colleagues and customers alike. Her commitment to helping others extended beyond her professional life, as she touched the lives of countless individuals with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support.

Carrie's life was a testament to the values of family and faith. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Leslie Stinson Sr., with whom she shared many blessed years.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
